Haslach has a beautifully preserved, mainly 18th-century town center. However, most visitors come to see the Schwarzwälder Trachtenmuseum (Black Forest National Dress Museum), The museum aims to show the different Trachten (traditional clothes) worn in the various regions of the Black Forest. The most famous is the Bollenhut, below, the hats with red or black balls, worn by women in the Gutach area.
